Monique Artus,

Monique Artus has acquired her Master's Degree in Social Work from
Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Since her degree, she has worked
in group practice for over 10 years. Monique worked in conjunction
with local organizations following the World Trade Center tragedy in the
capacity of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. Her specialties also
include helping professionals cope with organizational downsizing. Both
personally and professionally, Monique emphasizes the mind-body connection and incorporates these values into her therapeutic approach.
Monique's post-graduate continuing education has been in the arena sexual and verbal abuse as well as eating disorders and couples counseling. She received
her undergraduate degree in Sociology from St. John's University in Queens, NY
including a minor in International Studies through Budapest Technical
University in Hungary. She has been recognized by the Queens Borough
Council for outstanding service as a community social worker.
Monique is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American
Counseling Association.
